Tulsa Police Investigate Hit And Run Fatality.

Tulsa Police spokesman Sgt. Wayne Allen says 21-year old Melissa Ann Nicks was struck Saturday evening by a car driven by a man fleeing Woodward Park in Tulsa. Sergeant Allen group of high school students had initiated a fight with a group of skateboarders in their 20s.
He says no arrests had been made by Monday afternoon.
Allen says some of the skateboarders fled in a car and were pelted with objects from the other group. The car allegedly hit the young woman.
Allen says the driver and passengers in the car have been questioned. He says the case will be given to the district attorney's office for consideration of charges.
