Postal inspectors broke a case of child prostitution and pornography. Arrests have been made in Tulsa and Ottawa Counties, and more are expected.

In a hotel on Sheridan Road, police believe a young girl was raped, so the scene could be videotaped and sold. They believe her parents paid a man to rape their daughter, shot it on videotape, then sold the tapes through the mail. Postal inspectors served a search warrant and say they found child pornography depicting Truman Leon Wolery having sex with a girl who was 13-years-old. "I think the thing that makes it most unusual is the fact that the parents were involved in soliciting sex for their children and videotaping that and making it available," said Tulsa police sergeant Pat Calhoun.

The parents of the girl, Jarrod Sean Julian and Heike Gertrude Julian were arrested at their Ottawa County home. Their two children, a 16-year-old girl and a 9-year-old boy, were taken into protective state custody. Postal inspectors worked on the case after a tape was discovered in the mail. "They would send videos through the mail," said Calhoun. "Information requesting videos or acts through the mail. The network grew from contact with other people, and they in turn would contact more people and refer them to the suspects who might have some material they might be interested in."

Police say that on at least three occasions, the young girl was driven to Tulsa for sex that was videotaped. Two of the videos were made in area motels, and, they say, the third in a moving car as it was driven around Tulsa.

Police say Wolery was a paid actor in the videos, but he was also a consumer of child pornography. Police confiscated videotapes and photographs from the home where Wolery lives with his mother. Postal inspectors say there may be more than just the two young victims, but it will take several days to view the evidence seized in the searches, which include more than 50 hours of videotaped pornography.
