The city of Claremore to get a new animal shelter

After years of planning, Claremore broke ground Tuesday on a new animal shelter. The new building will be three times the size of the old one and be in a more convenient location.
Although the city of Claremore will provide some of the money to build the shelter, there is always the need for donations.
The new shelter should be open by September.
