An armed robbery suspect remains in critical condition after he was shot by a Tulsa Police officer.
Police say a man in a ski mask entered the First and Ten Sports Bar near 11th and Mingo through the back door and ordered everyone to the floor Monday afternoon. The gunman demanded money. And when he didn't get it, he fired at least three shots into the floor and ceiling.
Robbery victim Billy Gibbons: "He says hit the floor and everyone thought he was joking or something you know? And so he pulls out a sawed-off shotgun and fires one shot and so everybody hit the floor. We're all laying there on the floor and he walks over and puts his foot on my back and says give me the money or I'll shoot this guy.â€
A woman inside the bar escaped and flagged down officers.
The suspect grabbed a woman and pulled her out the back door. Officers were waiting and that's when an officer fired a single shot from a high powered rifle. The suspect was hit in the chest; his name has not been released.
No one else was hurt.
