City leaders are asking voters to invest in Tulsa in 2005.

Mayor Bill LaFortune, the city council and business leaders launched a joint campaign Thursday in support of an April 5th general obligation bond election.

The bond package would raise $250-million over the next five years to improve streets, bridges, sewers, police and fire protection. The bond package includes 200 projects spread equally among the cities nine council districts.

Once again, the general obligation bond election is April 5th.
