OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) -- A murder charge was filed Tuesday against a 14-year-old Choctaw boy in the shooting death of his friend.
Jacob Dean McColloch is charged as a youthful offender with first-degree murder in the Friday shooting death of 14-year-old Bobby Brantly the third outside McColloch's home.
Oklahoma County District Attorney Wes Lane says McColloch shot Brantly three times with a shotgun after an apparent argument.
The two boys attended Nicoma Park Junior High and school Principal David Reid says counselors are being brought to the school to talk with students and faculty. He says the counselors will be available for as long as needed.
