The Tulsa City Council has made it official. A $250-million bond issue will stay on the ballot for April 5th.
It's just one of several upcoming votes. The bond issue and a charter change were supposed to be on the same ballot. But a paperwork snafu has delayed the charter change to a later date to be determined.
And an election to fill a vacancy on the council is now scheduled for May 10th.
The city council considered delaying the bond vote by a month to save election costs, but they were told the slightest change in interest rates would cost far more.
