A Tulsa businessman and philanthropist has passed away.

John Zink died Saturday. For nearly 20 years, Zink ran the company his father started, the John Zink Company.

John Zink held 35 patents, and cars he built won the Indianapolis 500 twice. He enlarged the ranch his father started in Osage County, and now four Boys and Girls Scout camps use the Zink Ranch.

John Zink was 76. His memorial service will be Friday at 4 PM at the Reynolds Center at TU.
