Road conditions can change quickly in winter weather in Oklahoma.

6 in the Morning reporter Omar Villafranca is keeping an eye on those road conditions this morning. The roads are slick and that's partially to blame for an accident that happened earlier Wednesday morning on I-44 near Yale.

Oklahoma Highway Patrol troopers responded to the wreck around 2:15 AM. Troopers say an 18-wheeler carrying mail tried was looking for an exit to and fill up, but hit the wall. The driver then overcompensated, jack-knifing the truck. The driver wasn't hurt, but traffic was backed up. Tulsa Fire hazmat crews were called out to clean up fuel that spilled. The highway is reopened, but the road of course is still wet.

Other roads and highways across eastern and southern Oklahoma are slick, too. The snow is starting to stick to some spots and emergency crews are warning drivers to slow down.

If you do intend to travel, here's a list of numbers you'll want to keep handy.

Oklahoma 1-405-425-2385
Kansas 1-800-585-7623
Missouri 1-800-222-6400
Arkansas 1-800-245-1672
Texas: 1-800-452-9292
