STILLWATER, Okla. (AP) _ Three top home run hitters and a pitching ace may be gone, but Oklahoma State coach Frank Anderson sees no shortage of talent on his team.

Third baseman Josh Fields and catcher Jason Jaramillo left with the Major League Baseball draft, and Spencer Grogan is gone after posting a 12-and-3 record and a 295 ERA last season.

Anderson says there are a lot of new players and it will take a while for them to understand what it takes to win at the top level.

Rusty Ryal, who hit 315 with 28 RBI's last season, will move from second base to his natural position at third to replace Fields.

Pitcher Thomas Cowley returns to the Cowboys' rotation after an 8-and-three sophomore season. Cowley didn't make his first start until mid-March, but then developed into a regular in the rotation.

Anderson has eight left-handers and nine righties on his roster fighting for positions.

The Cowboys' season begins February 4th against Arkansas-Pine Bluff.
