OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) -- A fee would be added to citations issued by state law enforcement agencies under legislation being proposed by a Grove Republican.

Representative Doug Cox has filed a bill to raise money for a program that helps children that have been removed from abusive or dangerous environments.

The funds would go to the Court Appointed Special Advocates Programs.

In many cases the children are given a CASA volunteer advocate by the district judicial court system. The program provides representatives that serve as a voice for the children in the courtroom.
