NOEL, Mo. (AP) -- The body of a southwest Missouri woman who disappeared in a flash flood two weeks ago has been found about 15 miles away in Oklahoma.
67-year-old Janice Anderson and her husband were swept from the driveway of their rural McDonald County home on January 4th.
Their car turned up about 200 yards away in a normally dry creek-bed, but there was no sign of the couple.
McDonald County officials say Janice Anderson's body was discovered Tuesday in a cove off the Elk River northwest of Grove, Oklahoma. Her 69-year-old husband, Bufford Anderson, is still missing.
