Some Tulsa County Sheriff's deputies will be a part of a special ceremony in our nation's capital.
The mounted patrol team will ride in the Presidential Inaugural Parade in Washington DC next week. They took some time out this weekend to meet and practice. They say that the horses shouldn't have any problems. They are used to big events like this.
Tulsa County Sheriff’s Deputy Paula Hite: "These horses work the Tulsa State Fair, they work rodeos, they work parks, they do crowd control for big events that come into town."
The mounted patrol will leave Saturday, and they expect to arrive in Washington DC on Monday.
