ADA, Okla. (AP) -- Ada police say a 47-year-old man has been stabbed to death and another man is in custody in connection with the case.

Police say Curtis Standon was stabbed at an Ada home about 12:30 Monday afternoon and died about three hours later.

Martin Molles was arrested about eight hours after the stabbing and is being held in the Ada City Jail.

The state Department of Corrections says Molles has previous convictions for forgery, arson and attempted escape and was recently released from prison.
