Some Oklahoma high school cheerleaders will be strutting their stuff in Florida next week. After winning a competition in June, the cheerleading squad from Carnegie High School in western Oklahoma learned they'd get to perform at the Orange Bowl.
At that time, they had no idea who'd play in the championship game, so imagine their excitement when OU clinched the spot. The girls will perform with hundreds of other cheerleaders from around the country.
The girls received the routine on video, and are now trying to learn it before they leave for Florida on Thursday. They will perform before the game and at half time.
