Oklahoma traffic deaths up this year

UNDATED (AP) _ It's been a deadly year on Oklahoma's roads and highways.
The Oklahoma Highway Patrol says more people have been killed in traffic mishaps this year than in 2003.
A total of 743 people have died in highway collisions so far this year. The patrol says 665 people were killed in collisions during the same period last year.
So far this month, 49 people have died on Oklahoma's highways. That's ten more than the number of deaths recorded during the same period in December 2003.
