OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) -- A state prosecutor arrested last month in a prostitution sting is resigning.

Oklahoma County Assistant District Attorney Lou Keel submitted his resignation letter to DA Wes Lane, effective Friday.

Lane says he will accept Keel's resignation and that he expects his staff to be role models in the community.

Keel is accused of trying to solicit sex from a police woman posing as a prostitute.

Keel helped prosecute the state's case against Oklahoma City bombing conspirator Terry Nichols.
