Small earthquake rattles Lindsay

LINDSAY, Okla. (AP) _ Small earthquakes woke up residents of Lindsay in south-central Oklahoma early Wednesday morning.

No damage is reported.

The Oklahoma geological survey says a 2.7 magnitude quake was recorded about 3 AM just northeast of Lindsay. A 1.8 magnitude aftershock was recorded in the same area at about 3:45 AM.

Residents reported hearing a booming sound like thunder followed by a slight shaking.
