The Sooners and their fans are Orange Bowl bound. The official word came out Sunday. The OU Sooners will play USC for the national championship in Florida next month.

Fans are scrambling to get tickets, flights and hotel rooms. But this fun doesn't come cheap. The price tag for a pair of tickets to the game on eBay is $800 and climbing and that doesn't include how much it will cost to get there.

Travel experts say "book early". Greg Spears of Spears Travel: "thatâ€™s very good advice to not hem and haw because our space all space will go very very quickly and we expect to be very busy."

Spears Travel is selling a package deal. It includes bowl tickets, airfare, a three-night hotel stay, and transportation to the game for about $1,800.
