A suspect wanted for the murder of a Michigan man is in custody. Thomas McWilliams is in the Tulsa County jail.

He's waiting for extradition to Michigan where he faces murder charges in the beating and stabbing death of 70-year-old William Routley. Routley was found dead in his home near Walkerville, Michigan on Saturday.

Investigators believe after the murder McWilliams drove Routley's truck to Oklahoma and left it in Osage County.

McWilliams is a native of the Tulsa area.
