New statistics show Oklahoma's unemployment rate took a slight jump in October.

The Oklahoma Employment Security Commission says the jobless rate climbed to 4.4%. That's up from 4.2% in September.

There are now more than 75,000 Oklahomans unemployed.

Despite the increase, the state unemployment rate is still below the nation and the region.
