STILLWATER, Okla. (AP) _ When Oklahoma State and Texas Tech get together, it tends to turn into a shootout.
But this season, don't expect the Number 23 Cowboys to use the same ammunition as the Red Raiders when they face off in Stillwater tomorrow.
Oklahoma State enters the game with the eighth-best rushing team in the nation, while Tech comes in as the best passing team in the NCAA.
But the Cowboys' running mentality hasn't slowed them down on the scoreboard. While averaging almost 252 rushing yards per game, the Cowboys have been outscoring Tech and its 400 passing yards per game.
In the last five games in the series, the teams have combined to score more than 74 points per game. Only the 2000 game, which Tech won 58-to-0, came in with fewer than 60 points. And last year, it was 51-to-49, Oklahoma State.
