The News on 6 and Mathis Brothers teamed up again Monday to announce another winner in the Friday Football Fever Battle of the Bands contest.

Monday morning, News on 6 reporter Omar Villafranca surprised the Skiatook High School band during practice, to let them know they were the 4A champions. Everyone was surprised and ready to spend the money.

Skiatook High School Principal Donna Brogan: "Total Surprise, but not totally, so glad they did."

Band director Rusty Chevalier: " There are definitely some wish lists around the band room and that'll certainly help."

Last week, News on 6 anchor Craig Day surprised 3A winner Eufaula High School and gave them their check.

Keep it on channel 6, you never know, you're high school band could be the next winner.
