A close call during the Tuesday morning commute for a Tulsa area woman. The Oklahoma Highway Patrol says she was headed south towards Sperry on State highway 11 around 7 AM, when she found herself in a creek.
Authorities say the woman and the driver of another vehicle decided to pass slower moving traffic at the same time. When they looked up, they managed to avoid each other. But the woman went left of center, hit a guardrail and came to rest in the creek.
She was taken to a Tulsa area hospital with non-life threatening injuries. Authorities say the accident could have been much worse.
