Authorities in the Sand Springs area say they will scale back their search for a man who's wife was murdered last week.

They've been looking for Robert Bettis since his car was found blocking a lake road last Thursday. His jacket was floating in Shell Creek lake.

When police went to his home to investigate, they found his wife Sylvia decapitated.

Crews have dragged the lake for days and also searched from the ground and air but still haven't found Robert Bettis. Bettis is listed as a missing person. But he's still considered a person of interest in the death of his wife of 50-years.
