Winter comes to the Panhandle

(AP) _ Winter weather is hitting the Panhandle early this year.
The National Weather Service has issued a snow advisory for the Oklahoma and Texas panhandles until this afternoon.
A cold airmass is expected to move into the region early this morning and as an upper level disturbance moves through, there is a threat of frozen precipitation beginning early this afternoon.
Snow could accumulate by late afternoon.
One to three inches is possible northwest of Guymon to Hartley, Texas.
The advisory affects Cimmaron and Texas counties.
