Tulsa's aircraft parts maker, Nordam faces allegations of discrimination.

The US Labor Department has filed an administrative complaint against the company, claiming Nordam discriminated against minority and female job applicants for entry-level "utility worker" jobs at the company's Tulsa plant.

The US Labor Department wants Nordam to pay back wages and offer jobs to those applicants.

Nordam officials tell us they disagree with the claim, but say they will work with the government to address it. They say that "safety" is their first and foremost criteria in hiring.
