A private Christian school in Tulsa is being ordered to pay $845,000 to five boys who were molested by a former teacher.

Grace Fellowship Christian School must pay individual damages of between $75,000 and $250,000 to each of the boys.

The Tulsa County District Court jury is now considering punitive damages against the school.

The boys' lawsuit accuses the school of negligence in hiring and supervising former teacher Aaron Thompson and of failing to report suspected child abuse. Thompson pleaded guilty last year to 16 charges of molestation and two of sexual abuse.

He was sentenced to ten years in prison.
