Tulsa City Hall has a growing problem that is making it tough right now for some folks to breathe, it's mold.
City workers say they've spotted mold on air conditioning vents, desks, even city documents. And its causing health problems for people with asthma or allergies.
Some say the mold has gotten out of control, because the city has cut money for maintenance and housekeeping. Building Operations Manager Tom West: "we had to cutback on the services we can provide and this is a result of that. You can only cutback for so long, then it gets out of hand like it is now. Now we're playing catch-up."
The city is taking steps to get the mold problem under control. They're going to start cleaning these vents Friday evening.
