One person is injured and a Tulsa Police car is totaled following a traffic accident early Thursday morning.

Tulsa Police say about 12:45 AM, an officer was en route to assist another officer when he entered the intersection of 71st and US Highway 169 with his red lights on. Another driver did not notice the officer and struck the police unit.

The officer and the other driver were not seriously hurt.
