Some Owasso residents are on a mission to stop construction on a multi-million dollar hospital.

Opponents of the proposed Owasso Medical Center have kicked off a petition drive. They say the facility will be too close to their homes.

The Owasso City Council approved a zoning change allowing the hospital to go up near US Highway 169 and 96th Street North.

Petitioners say voters should decide.
