OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) _ A band director at Dewey High School who is charged in Washington County with sexual assault, now faces nine more sex-related counts in Oklahoma County.

John Owen Zollars, 26, of Bartlesville is charged with eight counts of forcible oral sodomy and one count of sexual battery.

The charges, filed Thursday, say the incidents took place during the 2002-2003 school year at Crooked Oak High School.

According to a court affidavit, Zollars threatened to reduce a female student's grade in band, jeopardizing a college scholarship, unless she performed a sex act on him.

Zollars was placed on administrative leave by the Dewey school district after being charged in August with improperly touching a 17-year-old student at Dewey High School.
