DALLAS (AP) Texas coach Mack Brown thinks this Oklahoma team might just be better than the one that throttled his team on a rampage through the regular season a year ago.

The score wasn't as lopsided, it was 12-nothing instead of 65-to-13, but the all-around effort from the second-ranked Sooners was what stood out for the Longhorns coach.

Quarterback Jason White shredded the Longhorns last year, but this year it was all about freshman running back Adrian Peterson, who ran for 225 yards.

Brown says this ability to run the ball is an area where this year's Oklahoma team is better than last year's squad.
