With some new steam to save her a previously neglected piece of Oklahoma history can now be fully restored.
The old Frisco 45-hundred built in 19-42, made the eleven mile trip from Owasso to Tulsa today where in about a year and a half, organizers say, it will look like it just rolled off the assembly line.
For Former Frisco Engineer Charles Howerton, today brought back a lot of memories from when this old engine was running full steam.
Charles Howerton/Former Frisco Engineer: "One evening, there was a fellow out taking pictures, and when I went by, the wind from the train, just blew him over and he jumped up and started running down the side of the train, and as I come into Claremore, he was hanging on the order rack taking pictures..(laughs)."
After it's restored, the Old Frisco Engine will be on display, but that location hasn't yet been determined.
