LAWTON, Okla. (AP) _ Two drug agents who were shot during a raid in Lawton this week are still recovering from their injuries and one is expected to return to work soon.

The two were shot Monday when a drug suspect opened fire as officers entered his apartment. The officers returned fire and killed Darren Howell.

Oklahoma Bureau of Narcotics spokesman Mark Woodward says the names of the agents aren't being released because both work undercover.

One works for the OBN and was shot in the hand and is expected back at work soon.

The other works for the Comanche County Drug Task Force and was shot in the side. He remains hospitalized with internal and spinal cord injuries.

Doctors say his prognosis is good but he likely faces a lengthy recovery period.
