LAWTON, Okla. (AP) -- One man is killed and two others injured after a wall of sand and giant concrete blocks collapsed at a concrete facility in Lawton.
Fire officials say 32-year-old David Hevron died after the wall collapsed Friday at Lawton Transit Mix.
Lawton Fire Department Deputy Chief Lonnie London says a worker apparently pushed a pile of soil into a wall of concrete blocks, causing it to collapse on the men.
The concrete blocks weighed about 5,000 pounds each.
Officials from the Occupational Safety and Health Administration arrived at the facility Friday to investigate the accident.
