HYDRO, Okla. (AP) -- A pickup truck ran off Interstate 40 and overturned, killing a passenger and seriously injuring the driver.

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol says 44-year-old John Ricci of El Reno was pronounced dead at the scene of last night's crash near Hydro in Caddo County.

Ricci was a passenger in a pickup truck driven by Warren Condulle of Oklahoma City, who was listed in stable condition at an Oklahoma City hospital with internal injuries.

The patrol says Condulle was driving eastbound on I-40 about 6:25 last night when he ran off the road to the left, overcorrected and then ran off the right side of the road. The pickup truck overturned twice.

The OH-P reports both men were wearing their seat belts.
