A fallen Oklahoma Marine is being honored on the homefront. Lance Corporal Trevor Roberts was killed by a roadside bomb in Iraq in March. On Monday his parents shared his story with about 600 people at a Memorial Day service in Ada. They wanted to remind everyone that celebrating Memorial Day is about remembering the men and women who have lost their lives for our freedom.

"The amount of people that he touched, the amount of lives that he made a difference in that we are still finding out," said Trevor’s father Chuck Roberts.

Eagle Heights Church in Oklahoma City will also hold a Freedom Celebration in Trevor's honor on the Fourth of July.
