UNDATED (AP) _ A flood warning is in effect until 8:15 Saturday tonight for three northwest Oklahoma counties.
The National Weather Service issued the warning Saturday morning for small streams in Ellis, Harper and Woodward counties.
The flood danger is the result of heavy rains that fell Wednesday evening and Thursday morning in the northeastern Texas Panhandle and the eastern Oklahoma Panhandle.
As the water from those rains flows toward Fort Supply, flooding is possible along the Beaver River in far northeast Ellis and northwest Woodward counties.
Flooding of roadways has been reported along and near the Beaver River, mainly southeast of Laverne and near May.
No evacuations have been ordered for Saturday, but one home was evacuated Friday near Gage.
Meanwhile, the Department of Transportation Saturday morning reopened a portion of State Highway 46 north of Gage that had been closed because of flooding Friday.
