OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) _ Oklahoma scored 5 runs in the bottom of the 9th inning, the final 2 on wild pitches, to rally for a 9-8 win over archrival Oklahoma State on Friday night in pool play of the Big 12 Conference baseball tournament.

Oklahoma (34-23) moved to 2-0 in its pool and will play Baylor on Saturday for a berth in the championship game on Sunday. Oklahoma State (38-18) is 0-2 in pool play and will play Missouri, also 0-2, in a meaningless pool play game on Saturday.

Oklahoma State swept the Sooners in a three-game series earlier this season, extending its regular-season win streak in the Bedlam series to six games. But Oklahoma now has beaten the Cowboys seven straight times in Big 12 tournament play.

A 3-run Oklahoma State outburst in the top of the 8th left the Sooners trailing 8-2, but Oklahoma scored twice in the bottom of the inning, setting up the dramatic finish.

Against struggling Oklahoma State reliever Jordy Mercer (2-1), the Sooners loaded the bases with one out. Mercer struck out Aaron Reza, but Aaron Baker followed with a run-scoring single, and Joseph Hughes drove home 2 more runs with another single, making it 8-7.

After a walk to Mike Gosse loaded the bases, Mercer faced pinch-hitter Brandon Moss, and twice uncorked wild pitches, allowing Baker and Hughes to score.

The teams combined for 33 hits, but neither one hit a home run. Tyler Mach went 4-5 with 3 RBIs for Oklahoma State, while Hughes was 4-5 with 3 RBIs for the Sooners.

Chris Henry (2-0), the last of five Oklahoma pitchers, allowed 1 hit and 1 run in 1 2-3 innings of relief to pick up the win.
