TULSA, Okla. (AP) -- The parent company of Bank of Oklahoma is expanding its presence in Colorado with the purchase of a chain of banks. Tulsa-based BOK is buying United Banks of Colorado which owns eleven First United Bank branches in Colorado including in Denver and Colorado Springs.
BOK will pay $43 million for the chain and the deal is expected to close in mid- to late June.
