NORMAN, Okla. (AP) -- The discovery of an elaborate marijuana-growing operation leads to the arrest of a Norman man.
Norman police say 35-year-old Thomas Kuhns was arrested on two drug charges and one count of child endangerment.
Police confiscated 58 plants, along with watering and lighting systems, air purifiers and chemicals. They say the estimated street value of the pot is about $87,000.
Police say three bedrooms had been converted into elaborate cultivation rooms, each with a growing system that supported marijuana plants in different stages of development.
Kuhns was released from the Cleveland County jail on $26,000 bail.
