MACOMB, Ill. (AP) -- Jake Kahaulelio and Brian Van Kirk each drove in two runs, and Chance Chapman pitched eight strong innings as Oral Roberts clinched its 10th straight Mid-Continent Conference title with a 7-2 win against Western Illinois on Thursday night.
Kahaulelio drew a leadoff walk to start a three-run rally in the fourth inning for the Golden Eagles against Western Illinois starter Rob Johnson (6-5). Chad Rothford and Van Kirk followed with consecutive RBI doubles, and Pat Warfle's run-scoring single made it 3-0.
Kahaulelio added an RBI single in the fifth and an RBI triple in the seventh. Kahaulelio scored on a wild pitch, and Van Kirk had an RBI single to make it 7-1.
Chapman (7-1) gave up two runs and nine hits while striking out four. He has won his last four decisions.
