Mayor Kathy Taylor stops the chop of trees in city of Tulsa parks without first getting approval from the city’s Tree Advisory Committee. The orders come after the mayor heard from Tulsans who were angry about the removal of trees in Woodward Park.
An independent arborist said only one of the 50 trees originally marked for removal should be cut down.
