OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) -- The state Department of Emergency Management says three possible tornadoes touched down during the night and early Wednesday morning but only one injury is reported. A truck driver was hurt when an apparent tornado touched down in south El Reno and blew over several tractor-trailer rigs along Interstate 40.
Emergency Management spokeswoman Michelann Ooten says local emergency managers also are reporting possible twisters west of Lawton and north of Faxon in southwestern Comanche County.
Damage includes power lines and trees blown down in El Reno.
Nearly 1,100 Oklahoma Gas and Electric customers were without power at one point during the stormy weather.
Flooding remains a major threat for many parts of the state, with more rain expected Wednesday.
