FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. (AP) -- Arkansas's Jess Todd struck out 10 LSU batters on the way to a 5-0 Southeastern Conference victory. Todd, now 7-2 on the season, pitched 5 2-3 innings Saturday at Fayetteville to get his third straight win, surrendering just 7-hits.
Charlie Furbush took the loss for the Tigers to drop to 3-7, despite 8 strikeouts in 6 innings of work.
With the win, the Razorbacks moved into a tie with Vanderbilt at the top of the SEC standings after the Commodores were shut out 7-0 at Georgia.
Brian Walker led Arkansas's attack with 3 hits and 2 RBI's. Walker also threw out Chris Jackson on an attempted steal and picked off Steve Broschofsky at 2nd base. Ben Tschepikow also collected 3-hits with an RBI and his first career triple.
The teams have split the weekend series so far, with a deciding game to be played Sunday.
Arkansas is 36-13 overall, 16-7 in the league, while LSU is now 27-12-1, 10-12-1 in the SEC.
