STILLWATER, Okla. (AP) -- Wide receiver Anthony Parks, who decided to play last season despite tests that revealed he had only one kidney, has left Oklahoma State's football program.
Parks, who was initially expected to sit out last season after the diagnosis, played in 11 games with three catches for 37 yards.
The 6’1, 185-pound receiver from Olathe, Kansas, highlighted one scrimmage this spring with two touchdown catches, and had two receptions for eight yards in the spring game.
Parks transferred to OSU from Butler County Community College in 2005 and didn't play that season. He has one year of eligibility remaining.
Parks' brother, Adam, is a sophomore wide receiver at Central Missouri State University.
