CHICAGO (AP) _ An attack at a South Side home early Thursday left two boys dead and a 13-year-old girl with stab wounds, authorities said.

Police released few details Thursday morning.

The girl was being treated at a hospital for stab wounds, said police officer John Henry. Authorities would not confirm the cause of death for the boys, who were 12 and 14. The Chicago Tribune reported on its Web site that they were brothers who were stabbed to death.

Police arrived at the residence about 3:30 a.m. Thursday, Henry said. If wasn't immediately clear if anyone else was there at the time of the attacks.

No arrests had been made.
