CONWAY, Ark. (AP) -- Central Arkansas has extended football coach Clint Conque's contract through 2011 and raised his annual salary by about $3,000.

Conque led the Bears to an 8-3 record last year in their first season in Division IAA. He is 52-29 in seven seasons at Central Arkansas.

Conque's previous contract through 2010 included an annual salary of $111,461. That figure was increased to $114,805. Conque can also earn money from private contributions and incentive bonuses.
