MUSKOGEE, Okla. (AP) -- The grandfather of a Muskogee teenager who was shot to death earlier this week says he's not surprised by the identity of the alleged gunman.
Ernest Allen's grandson, 34-year-old Gary Orman, was killed Thursday night after being shot multiple times. A warrant has been issued for the arrest of 20-year-old Bryan Richard Russell, also known as Bryan Dinardo, in the case.
Allen says Russell has frequently been in trouble with the law during the past decade. Russell is serving a deferred sentence after being convicted of second-degree burglary.
Allen says that he knew by the time Russell turned 18 that Russell, quote, "would either kill or be killed."
The homicide is the first of the year in Muskogee.
If you’ve seen Bryan Russell, or know his whereabouts call the Muskogee Crimestoppers at 918-682-2677.
